Greetings, Blacksmiths!
As February comes to a close, we’re excited to share the progress we’ve made this month. From new craftable gear to deeper town immersion, here’s everything we’ve been working on in Smith’s Chronicles.
-
New Blueprint: Helmets
We’re expanding the crafting catalog with a new collection of helmets inspired by medieval-era designs. Each piece brings more variety to your workshop and gives you additional options to showcase your craftsmanship. Whether your customers prefer practical protection or something more refined, you’ll now have more ways to meet their needs.

-
More Character Customization Options
This month, we’ve added several new customization options, including additional hairstyles and more detailed facial features such as eyes, noses, and lips. These additions allow you to shape a character that truly represents you and your journey as the town’s master smith.

-
NPC Schedule
We’ve implemented a daily activity system for town residents. Instead of wandering aimlessly, NPCs now follow schedules and perform various activities such as strolling through town or sweeping the streets. These small details add depth and immersion, making the world feel more dynamic and believable.

-
Tutorial Improvement: Visual Cue
We’ve improved the onboarding experience to make it clearer and more intuitive. Important objects, items, and characters will now feature visual cues during tutorial segments, helping you better understand what to interact with. Our goal is to make learning the game feel natural without overwhelming new players.

-
Blacksmith Shop Improvement
Some customers will now arrive with specific item requests. If the requested item isn’t available on display, they’ll leave without making a purchase. This encourages better planning, inventory management, and smarter display decisions.
We’ve also refined the display case system to make showcasing your crafted goods feel more satisfying and visually appealing.

That wraps up this month’s development progress!
Thank you for your continued support and feedback! It truly helps us shape the future of Smith’s Chronicles. We’ll see you next month with more updates from the forge!
